I figured out why the recipe was so spicy last time -- I used 2 whole jalapeños instead of just 2 tablespoons. Whoops! I used less this time and although it didn't hurt as much, it just wasn't spicy enough.

This is the first time I'm bringing a non-insulated lunch box to school. I think it'll be okay since the weather is cooler.

Midterm later this week. bleh.

Leftovers: Kung pao chicken and walnut prawns with rice.

I'm starting a new job tomorrow, so I'll be getting weird looks from people for the first time.

Ever since I found that black bag at my local Kmart, I've been thinking that Kmart is this fantastic, untapped resource for treasure. Lo and behold, I discovered Lock & Locks there! Unfortunately, the set I wanted was broken and it was the only one they had in stock. My boyfriend bought me a smaller set of 3 (plus the cookies), and we vowed to return after payday next week.
